Geobarriers

GCL
Geobarriers or Geosynthetic Clay Liners (GCLs) are geosynthetic barriers widely used for sealing and containment applications. They are made of one needle-punched geotextile layer and one woven textile layer with a layer of highly waterproof sodium bentonite in between.
Geomembranes are synthetic liners used to contain fluids or gases, often of hazardous nature.  They are made of thin, flexible materials such as PP, PE, PVC and EPDM, and have exceptionally low permeability. They are known for being even more watertight and durable than GCLs.
